uwu ok anon! it’s not a very complicated or interesting process though
ok so i just draw shapes to start off with. i dont do a lot of guideline things beforehand which is probably why my art isn’t very dynamic or consistent aha ha ha ha

add more things

i like sketching in black and then reducing the opacity because it means that if i accidentally switch to the sketch layer when i’m doing lineart i know it because i’ll start drawing in grey. no OH NO I DREW ON THE WRONG LAYER moments for slonna

lineart

i do overlapping things like her arms or watever on a different layer and then erase what it overlaps because i dont know i just do it

add important cat

fill in flat colours

i keep different colours on different layers so that if i wanna change the colours i just use a clipping group

shading and lighting i pretty much just use more clipping groups and multiply/overlay/watevs

because she’s got those balls of yellow magic goin on i put in the tiniest bit of extra effort and actually tried to remember lightsources. for once.

also write ur naem on it!!! originl charater do not steel!!!!!!!
i felt bad leavin the background white so i made it purple and just threw on a bunch of overlay and multiply layers of blotches

done
